This mod gives the summoners rank 50, so they should not be replaced when they kill any enemies. Use FableMenuAnniversary to set the summoner to your summon. I believe their IDs are 1215 and 1216. Here's a video of it https://youtu.be/eKEhO-ueGKM. Some of their attacks do knock you back, but you can make yourself immune to explosions to avoid that.
